I’m Atin Mehra, an award-winning filmmaker based in the Los Angeles area. With over 20 years of experience, I’ve worked across India, Nepal and the United States, creating powerful documentaries, films, commercials, reality shows, music videos, non-profit and corporate videos.

My passion lies in crafting moving and still images that capture life. Much of my life’s work is focused on social impact, including disability-related content.

"I shot the ASL Picture-in-Picture content for the California Department of Developmental Services HCBS Final Rule / The Animated Series. The series features characters like Lorenzo, Maya, Dexter, Steven, and superhero Lanterman, who share stories to explain the rights of individuals receiving Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS). Designed to equip regional centers, service providers, and the broader community, the series illustrates the ten federal requirements of the HCBS Final Rule. Each episode was translated into 20 languages, including ASL, to ensure accessibility and inclusivity."
